MAC NOTD + Mini Mac Haul

Hi Girls, It's been crazy raining here in Manila almost 80% is under flood due to the heavy non stop rains! All is better in our village now however, there are tons more out there who need help. Anyway, now that I have electricity back, decided to show you guys my NOTD and Mini Mac Haul.

I'm not very much of a nail polish girl since It can't even last me one week (i'm lucky if it will last me 2 days lol). Although I just had to try on this color since it was sooo beautiful.

Don't you just love how bright the pink is? I feel like barbie haha. :)


Moving on to my mini Mac Haul, a few weeks ago, i stumbled upon sites in Multiply that were selling authentic MAC items. The items immediately caught my eye and I just had to inquire and buy them. So about a week later, here they are:

I really like both eye shadows, the Idol Eyes has this beautiful silver with a hint of purple glimmer to it while Eye popping really is eye popping with it's green (not so seen on the photo). The Richmetal Highliter is cream based, I like this since this will be perfect as base when creating smokey looks. Another thing is it's not thick and doesn't feel creamy at all, it actually feels like powder once spread on the skin. For the Fluidline, I'll probably use this as base for most of the time too. It's shimmery perfect for looks that need bright eye shadow. Now that I have a white base hopefully the colors will pop ot even more. :) Love the Blush too since its like a bronzer on my skin already, it really gives me a more healthier natural glow. :)

So Bottomline, I super love my new items and my new nail color too! :)

Looklet Craze - VERY CABY

Hi lovelies, I'm sure most of you are already addicted to the looklet.com website. I started a few days ago and I just can't stop! I just wish that this was for real and all those clothes were really in my closet! haha

As you all may know I'm a designer bags lover and my style I would have to say is classic/modern. I don't really go for styles that are in pop culture or pop fashion as I call it since it's hard and not very pleasing to see you look like everyone else when going to the mall or even the supermarket. I think you guys all know what I'm talking about. So basically I go for comfort chic and classic pieces.

So while I was playing around looklet, I decided to come up with a look that is a "Staple Caby" look. And here's the look which is the closest representation to my "style", presenting to you all:

THE "VERY CABY" LOOK

Long tailored top, leggings, big functional bag, platforms, accessories and Shades. And I just realized that i wear an outfit like this at least 3-4 times a month, mixing different pieces of clothing of course. It's just a very comfortable yet fashion forward look.Tights are the most comfortable to wear, you can easily move yet still look stylish! :)


I'm having so much fun with this whole looklet thing. This is the perfect way to come up with new pieces of clothing to mix and match. This is also a perfect inspiration for looks to come up with in real life. :)

MAC Haul

Waking up this morning was like waking up as a little girl on Christmas Day!

Mom had arrived from Vancouver this morning at 4:30 AM. At around 5:45AM, the usual time my alarm signals my wake up time, I heard voices outside. On a usual day I'd complain and head back to bed for another 20 minutes. But today was different. I instantly jumped out of bed as I knew Mom was already outside fresh from the airport.

Mom came with sooo many goodies, Bags, Sunnies and of course my MAC HAUL! :) I couldn't wait to get them the minute she had left fro Vancouver 2 weeks ago. And when she handed me my things I just couldn't stop smiling! :)


Initially I had ordered:

1 Pro Palette 15
11 e/s refills
1 Photorealism Quad
Paint pot in Soft Ochre

I was so happy she came with so much more!

My Aunt threw in a used MAC quad with 4 e/s, but sadly one of the e/s broke during transit. I was able to press the e/s and even though only 1/4 is left, it's still functional. Not only that there was a whole box filled with Nars Samples, Avon products, eye liners, Skincare and soo much more! It was crazy! Wayyy better than Christmas I tell you! :)

So you see how much of a happy girl I am today! I got these packages before I left for work today and I had to bring my Pro Palette 15 and Photorealism Quad since If I didn't I would be thinking about them the whole day! Haha I am crazy. *bow*


So out of excitement, I did a look using the Photorealism Quad, Desert Rose Blush and Lip Stuff and other products from the loot from Vancity. :)

Estee Lauder Event + Celebrity Night

Saturday was a loooongg day! I had work since my artists had things to finish for my accounts, I attended an Estee Lauder Event and in the evening was my best friend Ivan's 24th birthday.

The Estee Lauder event was held at the cosmetics floor in Rustans Makati. Thanks to Diane who referred me to Pepper (he handles events for Estee Lauder) for allowing me to attend the event. It was a very intimate event which ran from 2pm-4pm. The people from Estee Lauder talked about the importance of skin care, its effects and its long term benefits. They also showed us demo videos on easy steps in applying make up, tricks and shortcuts. I had a wonderful time watching these videos. Amanda was the make up artist, she had worked with Estee Lauder for 2 years in the US and now she does free lance for Estee Lauder whenever they have events. She showed us how to put on foundation and set with powder, eyeliner, pouty lips and also how to achieve the smokey eye look with very easy steps! I sure was amazed!

The SA also tried this Gel Foundation on my face plus the Estee Lauder Signature blush in Plum Nuance on me and I swear It was flawless! I want to get the products badly! I reallyy had a good time, so for all Manila residents let me know if you want to attend this event too, I know they have one on September 26, 2009 in Rustans Shangri-La Mall! Let me know so I can give your names to Pepper :)

I promise to make a post to share the few tips they taught us that day! :)

Ivan's celebrity 24th Birthday Celebration

Me and my friends are really loud and crazy. As communication arts graduates we have a deep connection with Movies, Television, Celebrities and Show Business. So for Ivan's 24th birthday party, he decided to come up with a theme. His theme was "Celebrity" .

You basically just had to come as a celebrity or as a character in a movie may it be hollywood or not. It was so fun, as usual me and my friends get crazy with each others company!

FOTD using MAC Suite

Hi Lovelies, I got a package today when I got home. Excitedly, I opened my package to find the MAC Suite Eye Shadow I had bought from Nina's Blog Sale. :) I was ecstatic! As promised, the e/s was brand new and it didn't even show signs that it had been swatched. :) The happy excited girl that I am I couldn't wait any longer and tried out the duo right away. It's such a beautiful color! Thanks Nina! :) And oh, Nina included 4 samples of Ellana Mineral Eye Make up and Paul & Joe cream with the MAC e/s. What a treat! :)
