Your face is my canvas.
Hi girls, I know this is a long overdue post on the MUFE eye brow corrector. A number of you were requesting a tutorial on this, what it looks like on the brows and overall how it works.
I would just like to say, what you will see in this post is how I use it, now this may be different with other make up artists. But I have had a couple of weeks road testing this product, and with the shade that I got, I found it best used with how I will explain in the following.
So, let's go back, a couple of weeks ago I purchased the MUFE eye brow corrector in 0. 0 is the lightest color. Please refer to pictures below:
MUFE eye brow corrector in 0
Swatch on hand
From the swatch on my hand, you can see that it is light in color. The reason why I got 0, the lightest color is because for me, it is the safest color. For people with thin eye brow hair, I can use this color alone so not to overpower their eye brows too much. But for people with thick dark eye brow hair (like me) I find that, I can use MUFE eye brow corrector in 0 as a perfect base and on top I can add my favorite eye brow powder. It's not only easier to apply powder after puttng MUFE, it also helps it to stay longer.
Here's a clear illustration below of my natural brows outlined with MUFE eye brow corrector in 0. As you can see, my eye brows are naturally thick and dark. But amidst that, I still seem to have some sparse areas which is very very obvious if I don't fill in my brows.
MUFE eye brow corrector 0 outlined my natural eye brows and used to also fill in sparse areas. But because 0 is too light for the natural color of my brows, I added brow powder on top of it.
MUFE eye brow corrector 0 used as base and with brow powder on top.
From the second image you can see that when using a brow powder on top of the MUFE it loks like my brows are full naturally when really, those are sparse areas. I really love how the MUFE is working for me since it is a very versatile product.
It really is pretty difficult to groom my brows from time to time because they really are high maintenance! hehe My brows are naturally thick and full with little sparse areas. It is contradicting but I'm glad I found the MUFE eye brow corrector.
So that's how the MUFE eye brow corrector works on and for me. When I use this product on other people, my application differs. If I see that the client has thin hair eyebrows I use the MUFE eye brow corrector alone. But if they are thick like mine, I do the same as how I would do my own eye brows or sometimes, I would just use powder. It really depends. :)

Held at The Plaza of the AyalaMuseum in Makati, Dr. Jart’s debut was warmly received by some of the country’s sought-after celebrities, top models, as well as members of the media and the blog community alike.
On hand to welcome the guests were Dr. Jart CEO Leo Lee and Bellemaru Corporation chairman Julius Eom, who both flew in from Korea to witness the grand event. Also present were Bellemaru Corporation president Joel Lozada and Dr. Jart brand manager Marah Benin.
“We are very proud to introduce Dr. Jart to the Philippines,” said Joel Lozada. “It’s currently one of the leading brands in Korea mainly due to its credibility and proven product efficacy. We are confident that Filipinos will make this a part of their beauty regimen.”
A mini fashion show featuring the original creations of fashion designer Jun Escario highlighted the evening. The celebrated couturier showcased an exclusive collection inspired by the Dr. Jart brand philosophy –the idea of fusing medical expertise and the art of skincare which has earned the trust of millions of users.
Putting art in the science of skincare
Dr. Jart has been making waves not just in its native Korea but also in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and even in New York. Established in 2004, Dr. Jart immediately earned the trust of millions due to its commitment in developing products based on scientific study and consultations from medical experts.
The name “Dr. Jart” came from the initial “J” from medical specialist Dr. Sung-jae Jung and “art” which connotes the brand’s core value of healing and nourishing the skin. Extensive collaboration among reputable research laboratories, dermatologists and other medical specialists created product lines known for their efficacy and safety, even for the most sensitive of skin.
Dr. Jart products are widely recognized for their six core functions: prevents skin discoloration through its anti-oxidant ingredients; provides intensive moisture for supple skin; protects against harmful UV rays; soothes allergies; maintains skin’s PH balance; and promotes cell activation to rejuvenate the skin.
Korea’s wonder cream
Dr. Jart’s well-known flagship product is the Blemish Base more popularly known as BB Cream. Considered as the latest craze in skincare, Dr. Jart Blemish Base has dramatically transformed the skin of millions of users.
BB cream was first used by surgeons as a healing solution for scars. Developed under medical specialists’ knowledge, Dr. Jart Blemish Base improves the condition and maintains the health of skin over time. It comes in different variants to suit every need.

Hi Guys, I noticed I haven't made a FOTD post in a while there fore I decided to glam myself up just like before and take vain pictures of myself. Hehe
With this FOTD i decided to use my new pink shadows: MAC Free to be and MAC expensive pink. So here it is :)
What I used: Face: Cinema Secrets Foundation RCMA Invisible Powder Graftobian Pro Powder Foundation ELF blush in Mellow Mauve Make Up For Ever eye brow corrector in 0 In2it brow powder
Eyes: MAC Expensive Pink for lid MAC Free to Be for crease color MAC Sable for outer v MAC Orb for browbone Prestige Total Intensity Liner Clinique Mascara
Lips: Styli Style Nude lip pencil NYX lipstick in B52 NYX megashine lipgloss in Smokey look
Expensive pink has been an eye shadow that has been on my list for a couple of months now. And since I'm building my pinks, I finally decided this is the perfect time to get this color. When I went to the MAC Glorietta store, I originally wanted an orange eye shadow. But since there was no stock of orange (well its a pro product so PI doesn't carry it) or off the page (I remember the time the last piece was bought my my friend! :( ) I asked Gee Vee for an alternative.
He gave me the perfect alternative, Expensive Pink. And only then, when he handed me the eye shadow and I swatched it did i remember that once on the lids, expensive pink turns into a coral-orangey color with a pink undertone. Now that sounds very odd but when you see it, you'll get it hehe.
Expensive Pink has a Veluxe Pearl finish which explains the illusion of an orangey-coral color.
Here's what it looks like:
Swatch on finger:
Swatch on arm:
From the swatch, you can see that it really isn't all pink but kind of turns coral-orange. It is a beautiful color and the name "Expensive Pink" is the best definition of the color. :) On that note, I really love how MAC names their eye shadows, their so witty and creative. :) hehe Anyway, here's a rundown on the shadow.
Price: PHP870
Place bought: MAC Glorietta
Likes: - It really looks like an "expensive pink" color. - Easy to blend - Pigmented - Unique color, haven't seen anything like it - Permanent color :)
One of my recent eye shadow purchase is from the MAC Liberty of London collection. I was really trying my best to stay away from this collection since I think I went all out on the Spring Collection. Although the also Pink and Peaches tone of the Liberty of London was really tempting I thought I was doing a good job of resisting temptation UNTIL I saw this eye shadow!
Free to be is a matte eye shadow with a coral-pinkish/orange shade. I fell in love after swatching the product, it's so fresh and perfect for summer!! :) Not to mention the fact that, purchasing free to be was just in time for a fashion show for the next day hehe. Coincidence? maybe not, I think its Fate! haha :)
Swatch on my finger:
Swatch on my arm:
Isn't the color beautiful? I was in awe, the color is sort of similar to MAC's sushi flower but in matte finish. Which is what I like better since I find Matte eye shadows are more versatile.
I can use this shadow alone on my lids on hot summer days to just dash a little color on my face or I can use this as a perfect second color over an orange-y color lid to give your look a fresh summer blossom feel, which by the way is my favorite look now that its really hot in Manila.
I really love this color and I definitely don't regret buying it. Here's a rundown of the shadow:
Price: PHP870
Place Bought: MAC Marionaud MOA
Likes: - It's Matte and you can't really get enough matte's hehe - Versatile, can be used alone on lid or as crease color - Easy to blend - The packaging is love!! - Pigmented - IT IS NOW A PERMANENT COLOR!! Yayyy
I'n in the process of growing my MAC colored eye shadows and for this month decided to add more pinks to my collections. I recently purchased 2 pink eye shadows from MAC and I couldn't be happier with how versatile and beautiful these colors are. :)
These shadows are:
From the Liberty of London Collection - Free to be Regular permanent color - Expensive pink
These are really nice shadows that in my opinion everyone should have in their pink shadow collection.
Here's an eye shadow duo that I've had in my kit for quite some time but have never even swatched. For the past couple of weeks, I have been obsessed about bright colored matte eye shadows and have been in constant search for winner products. Looking in my kit, I realized surprise surprise I already have some hehe. Here's my HIP duo in Perky.
Perky is a duo of a bright almost neon green color and a dark dark blue almost gray color.
Here's the swatch of the eye shadows:
I really love the bright green colored shadow and these two colors would look good together. Another plus is the crazy pigmentation, it really is High Intensity Pigmentation. hehe
Here's the swatch on my Arm.
The quality swatched from the fingers and the arm showed the same quality and maintained the same amount of pigmentation.
I can't wait to use this product for my next looks. The only con I see though with this is that it is not available locally. :( So if you have family in the states better get them to stock up on these amazing products!! :)
On May 16, 2010 Lasalle College International's graduating Fashion Design students had their showcase fashion show for their designs. This year's theme was The Contemporary Filipiniana. The designers were tasked to use indigenous local materials used in traditional Filipino costumes and turn these into modern day wearable fashionable items.
As a recent Lasalle College International Alumni for Artistic make up under RB Chanco, we were given the opportunity beautify the models for this fashion show. It was great seeing some of my batch mates and friends / new friends from other batches. :)
Here's the make up I did for Sissel Casimiro Rabajante and Mae Bueta :)
