Studio Shoots with Rommell Torres

Hey girls, just want to share with you some recent studio shoots with Photographer Rommell Torress. I have 2 sets with him with 2 separate models. This was also done in 2 separate shoots.

I'm really happy with the outcome of the photos. Here they are:

The first shoot was with Sheena Ramos, she was looking to update her portfolio hence the set up for a studio shoot. Yours truly did Sheena's Hair and Make Up. She had tons of photos and I'm still waiting for the others, as for now, here's what I have from her shoot:

The next shoot done was with Canadian Jenny Cliche. Yours truly also did her hair and make up. Here are some of the pics from her set:

Isn't she a natural? I'm really loving the photos since she looks like she came out from a catalog Mag. Can't wait to do more shoots like these. :)

On another hand, I have been on quite a hiatus from blogging due to unexpected hectic scheds. I will be on track very soon with the Dr. Jart BB Creams reviews. I'm road testing them now and can't wait to share my thoughts about them. :)

Another Shooting Day

Did another extra gig for a commercial today, it was fun, this time it's for a Pharma brand. Watch out for it :)

Long day it was fun and tiring but I hope more gigs in the future. I'll need to update my blog, I haven't been posting much I've been so busy. Hope the following days will give me more time to blog, stay home and rest!

Beauty Shoot Pictures

Hi Guys, remember my post about my first Studio Shoot about 2 weeks ago?

Just to give a recap, I was MUA for my first Studio Shoot 2 weeks ago to my wonderful Photgrapher friend Anna Manlapas. This shoot was for our portfolio collaboration. There were 3 layouts; The ponds Girl Layout, The Flapper Hollywood Layout and the Fantasy Avante Garde Layout.

Anna has given me 1 of each layout again. And they are great!!

I really can't wait to get all pictures! So far the ones that I have shared with you are the only ones I've seen! I can't wait to see all of them I am so anxious!!! lol :)

Under the sea inspired NOTD + Week of Shooting

Today after a very long morning at Comelec, I hung out at Meg's had coffee and later in the evening went to the nail spa with Maui. We were both so tired and almost fell asleep while we were having our Manicures and Pedicures.

We both wanted to have Nail Stamping done so here's my Under the sea inspired NOTD.

I had a teal blue polish as base and silver stamping on each nail.

I love it! I really hope it lasts me at least a week! hahaha :)

Now here are a couple of pictures from the commercial shoot last tuesday and my friend's short film last Wednesday.

Busy busy crazy week!

I am sorry I know i promised to do a Suesh Flat top brush comparison with the Elana Flat top brush post, however time wasn't on my side this week. So I do hope to have that accomplished next week! :)

Extra! Extra!

Today was a looooooooooonnnnnngggggg day! Me and a bunch of friends were extras at a shoot today at a studio. Since all of us aren't employed, the gig was perfect for us.

Call time was at 12:30pm and we were briefed that we will be shooting 2 scenes. Since I am a Film Graduate (Communication Arts ad DLSU-Manila) I am aware of the loooonnggg hours shooting takes. When I say loonnngg I mean loooong! The first scene we started at 3pm and it ended at 7pm, after that change for the bar scene which started at like 10pm and ended at 2am. Long it is. But so so sooo much fun since I was with friends. :)

Most of our waiting time was spent playing cards, laughing at each other, putting on make-up and watching the shoot. :)

It has been a tiring day, tomorrow is another day, I have a MU gig for my friends short film. Busy bee. But I do hope more TVC gigs and MUA gigs in the near future! It's so much fun :)

Studio shoot teaser pic + Maui's giveaway

I super love this shot of Meg, she's so beautiful to begin with the make up just helped enhance her beautiful face. Me and Anna call this the Pond's girl layout. Doesn't she look like a ponds model? With the help of the pink accents of course. :) By the way this photo is raw and unedited.

Like what the title of this post says, It's a teaser pic only since this is the only photo that Anna has given me. She has tons to go through and edit but I'm in no rush. A photographer like her is a busy bee! So it's a teaser for everyone including me hehe.

The week of crazy hauling!

Last week I swore I wouldn't buy new make up. But surprise surprise. The very next day I bought a lot of items and the rest of the week is history, items including:

5 NYX Lipsticks
2 ELF Blushes
2 Charcoal Goodies from Saizen
2 YSL Lippsticks
2 Shiseido Foundations
1 Suesh Flat Top Brush


Crazy. I am Crazy.

I try to justify my spending, I really do. Like this week has also been crazy running errands for The Poveda Fair this Sunday, Business with friends, My shoot tomorrow and My personal business. Purchasing Make up on the side is my breather! *wink*

I guess it doesn't help the spending when you have a mother who is as excited as I am to become a Make up artist. But because of that I have to be serious with this craft. And speaking of craft. I really have to go to bed, I have a shoot tomorrow morning at Adphoto (photo studio here in Manila). This will be for a collaborative Portfolio (including mine!). It will be an exciting day! :)


Will upload pictures of this weeks haul when I have spare time tomorrow during the shoot but till then adieu! :)
