Greens EOTD

I did nothing today but sleep, watch TV read blogs and eat. So to break the cycle, I decided to do a bright EOTD. Color that I picked was none other than my favorite Greens. Green is my favorite color, and that includes all shades close to green hehe. So I didn't wonder why I ended up leaning towards the shades that I picked for this EOTD.

So here it is:

What I used:
MAC paintpot in Soft Ochre as base
120 Color Palette for all eyeshadows (see below)
Black Gel Liner
Too Faced Lash Injection Mascara
Dark Brown Eye Shadow for Eye Brow Filler

What I used in the 120 Palette:

Layer 1 of the 120 palette
1 - Base Color all over lids applied wet with Cinema Secrets moisture spray
2 - Inner corner of lids and lower lash line
3 - Middle Lid
4 - Outer corner of lid
5 - Outer Crease
I used a soft gold for browbone but it was in layer 2 and I forgot to take a pic :(

Here's me camwhoring:
Face:
Shiseido Balancing Foundation B80
MAC Studio Finish Concealer
Max Factor Translucent Powder
Flormar Terracotta Blush in #46
Pink/Mauve from 32 Lip Palette

I really love how the colors really pop out :) When I was applying each color it was really scary and strong. But eventually it started to mellow down once I started blending. In this EOTD i spent a good time on blending hehe. I used 2 different blending brushes. 1 was to apply shade number 5 and blend the outer corners while the other blending brush was used to apply the highlighter on the browbone and blend down to the crease color to soften. Nonetheless, I had fun doing this EOTD. :)

Toodles! :)

Product Spotlight: 32 Lip Palette (compact)

Hi Girls, the start of my week has been a busy one. Yesterday was spent running errands in the morning and then off to the commercial shoot by lunchtime. Got home at 12 midnight from the shoot and was just drop dead tired. This morning, I met up with my friend Meryll (who by the way I have also influenced in the whole make up world, I hope she starts blogging soon!) then I had an Interview for a company that called me yesterday. It was a good interview and I have a final interview on Thursday. I really have to think long and hard about this job since it's a very good offer. But thus meaning less time for my make-up interests, my business and nearing travel plans. Sigh I hope everything goes well :)

Anyway, since I've been pretty busy, I've decided to jump start this post with a review on the 32 Lip Palette (compact version).

Here it is:
I put name stickers on all my palettes and brushes hehe :)

I applied the swatches using 1 lip brush, sanitizing and wiping off each color before swatching the next color. Overall, this palette surprised me. I originally wanted the bigger palette since it looked more worth it. But after swatching, all of the colors and looking at how they pay off. I am impressed and happy at my purchase.

All of the colors are very pigmented as shown in the swatches. Each color was swatched softly with the lightest hand. A little goes a long way. I just wished there were more colors variations. There are too many similar colors.

Although I didn't attempt swatching them on my lips because I knew that they wouldn suit me. The colors on this palette would best suit girls with lighter skin tone. At least this handy palette would do its work for school! :)

I just need to store my palette in the fridge for a night since some of the colors are softer than the others. like this one below:

Compare the soft swatch on the other pans to the the one in the middle. :( Hope it doesn't happen again. I guess this palette sleeps in the fridge tonight. :)

Anyway I am happy with this palette, the pinks are my favorites and I can't wait to use this for school. :)

Toodles! :)

FOTD Fruit Punch

I call this FOTD fruit punch because of the play of vibrant colors. I don't know what else to call it actually it just reminded me of fruits haha.

Since I recently got my 120 palette and 15 concealer palette, I decided to put the palettes to the test.

So this FOTD uses only palettes. Here it is. Please don't mind the cam whoring in my hello kitty night gown haha.

Was watching Saving the last dance on HBO lol
*Used MACBOOK to take pics thus the quality

What I used:

Foundation: 15 Concealer Palette brown mixed with Ever Bilena Foundation in Oriental
Concealer: 15 Concealer Palette
Setting powder: 6 Contour Palette
Contour: 6 Contour Palette
Eye Shadow Primer: 15 Concealer palette - Silver
Eye Shadow: 120 Color Palette - Orange, Yellow, Green and Hot Pink
Eye Liner: San San Pen Liner and Avon Black Pencil
Blush: Ever Bilena in EVERYDAY
Lips: Ever Bilena Lipstick in SKIN

So Basically, I had a lot of fun mixing the colors for this look. And I definitely recommend palettes especially for people on budget. It's cost efficient with very very pigmented colors. Definitely does the job well done! :)

For those Philippine Based Readers you can get the palettes from DOLLFACE COSMETICS she has a lot of palettes on hand. You won't be disappointed ordering from Dollface since all the Palettes are love and you will also be dealing with a very nice seller Pearl! Pearl is one of my favorite sellers! :) I got most of my palettes from her while my other palettes I got from my aunt in Hong Kong! :)
