Best-selling Dr. Jart Blemish Base debuts in the Philippines

A new era in skincare has begun as Dr. Jart Blemish Base, Korea’s leading skincare brand, marked its official Philippine launch via a colorful festivity that highlighted the product’s essence of combining science and art in understanding the needs of Asian skin.

Held at The Plaza of the Ayala Museum in Makati, Dr. Jart’s debut was warmly received by some of the country’s sought-after celebrities, top models, as well as members of the media and the blog community alike.

On hand to welcome the guests were Dr. Jart CEO Leo Lee and Bellemaru Corporation chairman Julius Eom, who both flew in from Korea to witness the grand event. Also present were Bellemaru Corporation president Joel Lozada and Dr. Jart brand manager Marah Benin.

“We are very proud to introduce Dr. Jart to the Philippines,” said Joel Lozada. “It’s currently one of the leading brands in Korea mainly due to its credibility and proven product efficacy. We are confident that Filipinos will make this a part of their beauty regimen.”

A mini fashion show featuring the original creations of fashion designer Jun Escario highlighted the evening. The celebrated couturier showcased an exclusive collection inspired by the Dr. Jart brand philosophy –the idea of fusing medical expertise and the art of skincare which has earned the trust of millions of users.

Putting art in the science of skincare

Dr. Jart has been making waves not just in its native Korea but also in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and even in New York. Established in 2004, Dr. Jart immediately earned the trust of millions due to its commitment in developing products based on scientific study and consultations from medical experts.

The name “Dr. Jart” came from the initial “J” from medical specialist Dr. Sung-jae Jung and “art” which connotes the brand’s core value of healing and nourishing the skin.
